This has to be the most protracted fart joke in the history of comedy. Either the syndicates have relaxed their standards on scatological humor or the punchline of this strip flew completely under an editor’s radar. Either way, I’m glad this strip made it into newspapers, both for the punchline and for the humorously hyperbolic rant that preceded it.
