I’m going to take issue with the premise of this strip, namely that the perfect match for a person is someone who looks (and presumably acts) just like them. It’s important for couples to have common interests, but that doesn’t mean singles should go to Match.com and seek out an identical twin. When it comes to romance, compatibility is more important than commonality. Peanut butter goes with chocolate. Ketchup goes with french fries. Cheddar goes with pears (trust me, it does). You have to mix your flavors in love as well as in cooking. Otherwise, everything comes out bland.
