Cul de Sac (2/2/09)

A few weeks ago, I started buying meat at Bobak’s, a Polish grocery store located on the southwest side of Chicago. The meat counter and deli are both extensive and sport everything from garlic marinated pork chops to enormous T-bone steaks. They also sell more exotic items including lamb chops, Lithuanian sausage and an endless variety of lunchmeat. But as far as I can tell, they don’t stock groundhog (or even “ground hog”). If they start selling either item then I’ll probably stop shopping there.
