Pooch Cafe (5/19/10)

This week’s Pooch Cafe strips tell the story of Poncho the Pooch and his ill-fated attempts to guide an adolescent pigeon toward maturity while that pigeon’s father attends a counseling session with the boy’s mother. In the world of birds, maturity means taking a dump on a freshly washed car, but since the young pigeon in this strip hadn’t learned to fly, Poncho gave him an assist by sitting him in a lawnchair that floated skyward thanks to a large number of helium balloons. Too many helium balloons. The plot is convoluted, which might prompt you to ask why I’m reading Pooch Cafe. To which I would respond, “Why are yoooooooouuuu reading Pooch Cafe?”
